28 Days Later Font

28 Days Later font here refers to the font used in the poster title for the movie 28 Days Later, which is a horror zombie movie that centers on attempts of a handful of people to find their sanctuary, who survived a mysterious and incurable virus across the UK.

The title of 28 Days Later was designed using a grunge looking font.  A font called 28 Days Later by Jens R. Ziehn is very similar to it. The font is free to use and you can download the font for free here.


The Shining Font

The Shining font here refers to the font used in the poster title of The Shining, which is a psychological horror film released in 1980. The film revolves around a family who goes to an isolated hotel for the winter where the evil and supernatural presence there drives the father into madness.

The font used for the film title in the poster is very similar to Shining NFI Demo. The font is available in capital letters only. You can download the font for free here.


Walking Dead Font

Walking Dead font here refers to the font used in the title of The Walking Dead, which is an American television series based on the comic book series of the same name. The series tells the story of a small group of survivors living in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.

The font used in the title card of the Waking Dead TV series is very similar to Tungsten Black, a compact and sporty sans serif from H&F. The font is a commercial one and is available for purchase here.

Saw II Font

Saw font here refers to the font used in the poster title of Saw, which is a series of horror movies that revolve around the fictional characters of John Kramer or the “Jigsaw Killer”.

The title lettering for the movie series is very similar to a font called Sawsome by Jackassrules. The font is free for personal use and is available in uppercase letters, lowercase letters and punctuation marks. If you want to use it for commercial projects, it is for sale under the name of Glue-Regular here.


Hellraiser Font

Hellraiser font here refers to the font used in the poster title of the film Hellraiser. Hellraiser is a horror film released in 1987. Based on the novel The Hellbound Heart, the film focuses on the story of Frank’s restoration, who successfully solved a puzzle box of devil and killed by the monster.

Night of the Living Dead Font

Night of the Living Dead font here refers to the font used in the poster of Night of the Living Dead, which is a 1968 American independent zombie movie that follows characters Ben, Barbra, and five others trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania which is attacked by unnamed “living dead” monsters.

Chris Hansen designed Deanna font based on the lettering of the movie title. The font is only available in capital letters and numerals. You can download it for free here.


Carrie Font

Carrie font here refers to the font used in the poster of Carrie, which is a 1976 horror movie based on the 1974 novel of the same name by Stephen King. It tells the story of a shy high school girl who uses her newly acquired telekinetic powers to wreak revenge on those who teased her.

The font used for the movie title in the poster is probably Black Beard, designed by Ethan Paul Dunham in 1995 for Fonthead design. More details about the font can be found here.
