The Client
Global Exchange is an international human rights organization dedicated to promoting social, economic and environmental justice around the world.
The Challenge
In my role as Graphics Manager, I managed all aspects of print project development from concept to final production, including budgeting, scheduling, and print buying.
The Solution
- I designed and produced all print materials, including (quarterly) up to 3 brochures, 5 magazine advertisements, 2 campaign materials and toolkits, 2 fundraising/development items, and 3 special projects such as event flyers and posters.
- I managed up to 5 freelance and volunteer designers, illustrators, and production artists.
- I initiated the development of templates for flyers, handbills, and posters, created and maintained a complete archive system for projects, and designed and wrote the Global Exchange logo and style guidelines.
The Impact
Using the new templates and guidelines, we were able to standardize writing, design and production, letting our content team work more smoothly and efficiently.
