This biennial document is similar to an annual report, without the financials. It’s an accounting of the activities of the organization, with careful documentation and metrics.
The founders and staff of the District wanted a document that had all the information of a white paper, but looked more formal and finished.
As it would only be appearing as a PDF, I opted for full color and a lot of open space; the space savings was created by using a condensed typeface for the text. I used the pink and blue of the logo and transgender flag as accents throughout, with vibrant photos taken by staff during various events. Streetlight-pole banners I designed for the District are seen on the cover.
